Welcome to DIG

The DIG project (Digitization of key Insect Groups at ZFMK) aims to find a good practice for digitizing Natural History Collections (NHC) of museums in part or in full.

As an example we digitize some key taxa (‘Hemiptera’ s.l.-, Orthoptera-, Tipuloidea- species & types and Orthoptera-‘specimens’) at the ‘Zoologisches Forschungsmuseum Alexander Koenig’ (ZFMK) Bonn.
